Should I care that the groom’s white shirt will clash with my champagne gown?

Same thing goes for table linens – does it matter that the table linens will be white and I’ll be wearing a champagne-colored dress?

I’m in the same situation, only dark champagne. Instead of the white shirt for his tux, we’ve opted for the black version – we’re having a night wedding. His vest and tie will have the ‘color’, so we didn’t see the need in having a white shirt. I didn’t know if it would clash or not, but we felt the black would look better in the pics, and play of my gown, making both look more elegant.

I don’t think you’ll need to worry about the linens, but if so, possibly include a champagne colored ribbon or tulle in some of your table decorations to coordinate with your dress color?
